Chillable Hours

For When You Should Be Working

A good walk spoiled

When not logging Chillable Hours in the office, a good way to log a few Chillable Hours outside of the office is on the golf course. There is nothing better than getting up on a Saturday or Sunday morning (or leaving the office early on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday) and getting in a round of golf with a group of good friends.

A few things can make a round even better, like crushing a 300-yard drive, sinking a long putt or winning a few bucks off your buddies.

Unfortunately, a few things can also make a round frustrating, such as slow AARP members in the group in front of you, losing over a two dozen golf balls in one round or a slow beer cart.

I am always trying to get friends to join me on the course, even if they have never played before. I tell people that even if you have never swung a golf club, anyone can drive a golf cart with reckless abandon, make fun of other people’s bad shots and complain about their bosses and co-workers (all things that make a round of golf wonderful).

Below are a few clips that can help even the newest golfer - the first clip introduces a few basic mechanics (sorry for the quality of the vid) and the second is a tad bit more advanced…

And if you can’t get out of the office - you can always challenge your friends to a round of mini-putt (or kill a few Chillable Hours playing solo).
