Obama - The Law School Finals

It seems that information about future-POTUS Obama’s time teaching at the University of Chicago Law School is all the rage lately.

Today the New York Times published another interesting article which contained a number of future POTUS Obama’s law school exams (and even a few answer keys). For some reason, reading past exams is a morbid curiosity of some of the former law students at Chillable Hours.

As we noted before, we think that most of this information is fairly interesting, as it gives readers some insight into Professor Obama before he became a Presidential candidate.

  1. I love the site… but I’m not sure politics is appropriate here. Usually, I turn to CH to get away from this stuff–not marinade in it. But maybe that’s just me: a cynical lawyer who thinks Obama is just another Chicago-machine politician–albeit with a silver tongue–which makes him even more dangerous and scary.

For a revealing look at Obama, read Dana Milbank’s article in the Washington Post: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/07/29/AR2008072902068_pf.html

It appears arrogance is spelled “O-B-A-M-A.” And I’m beginning to wonder if over-confidence is spelled “B-A-R-A-C-K.”

  2. Braveheartless -

From one cynical lawyer to another, I ask you, what is the better alternative? Please do not tell me that you think “McCain” is the correct answer to this questions.

As for Milbank’s final query, I believe that the answer is a resounding “yes”.

I have another article for you regarding Sen. Obama’s chances in November.

  3. Braveheartless,

While I do think that most who attend the University of Chicago’s Law School and B-School are arrogant and over-confident, I do not find Senator Obama to be either. However, I am not suprised that this is being used in the popular media, as I think that Senator McCain’s campaign is starting to use the “kitchen sink” strategy, or is it “strategery”.
